Salmon Valley Fire and Rescue is run by a dedicated group of volunteers serving the community of Salmon Valley.  We respond to structural and wildland fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents and rescue incidents.  Our volunteers are farmers, business owners, mother's and fathers of young children, grandparents, retirees and work in town. Something we all have in common is, we want to do our part in being there to help our neighbours should an emergency arise.

We are currently looking for new members to join our team and accepting applications for our next training session starting mid-September.  We will be holding an information session on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Salmon Valley Fire Department.  You will have an opportunity to meet our fantastic team, learn more about our training, check out our trucks and tools we use.
